Student Services Available
These are the student services available for students in Wilkes County schools.
School Counseling
School Counselors provide the following services:
Classroom guidance lessons
Short term individual counseling.
Small group counseling.
Parent/Teacher consultations.
Parent engagement.
Crisis response.
Referrals to outside agencies.
Student Services Facilitator
The student services facilitator can provide individual and group counseling to students referred to by parents or school counselors.

Mental Health Services
We have two additional mental health programs available with outside mental health agencies. Students who qualify are able to get counseling through Serenity or Georgia Hope in the schools.
If you believe your child could benefit from outside counseling, please contact your school counselor or student services facilitator. You are also able to self refer through the website links above.
Wilkes County Care Room
The Care Room allows students & families in need the chance to "shop" for clothes, shoes, food and personal care items, at no cost to their families.
To request items for your student please complete the request form below. Items will be delivered to your child's school. To schedule a time to pick out items in person, please contact sanchezl@wilkes.k12.ga.us.
