Wilkes County School Nutrition Charge Policy
Pre-K - 12th Grade Students
Wilkes County School Nutrition is pleased to provide breakfast and lunch meals at NO COST to all students attending Wilkes County Schools. Wilkes County currently operates under Community Eligibility Provision. CEP allows students to eat breakfast and lunch at no cost.
A second meal, if wanted, will be at the adult cost with no charging for this meal. A la carte items are available to students at all schools. Payments for second meals may be made in person with cash or check. Payments may be made online using Infinite Campus Parent Portal. To purchase a la carte items* students must have money in hand or money on his/her account.

Students at WWCHS with outstanding balances on their School Nutrition accounts will be prohibited from graduating or transferring their student records to another school. Wilkes County students must settle all past debts promptly, though partial payments toward the balance are allowed until the full amount is cleared. All school meal debts from previous years must be fully paid off before students can graduate or transfer their records to another school.

Faculty & Staff
As a courtesy to our faculty and staff, they are allowed to charge up to $50.00. There is an exception to the charge policy. The last month of the school calendar there is no charging. At the end of each school year, faculty and staff must pay all School Nutrition charges in full.
