We would like to welcome one of our new teachers, Ms. Jessica Eleazer. She will be teaching 4th and 5th Grade Science and Social Studies this year.
Jessica Eleazer grew up in Tucker, GA before attending Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA from 2017-2021. She graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, a minor in Environmental Science and a Sustainability Certificate. She spent a year after college working as an animal caregiver at Farm of the Free Animal Sanctuary in Good Hope, GA, where she helped care for farm animals of all types. While there, she learned about animal husbandry and got her hands dirty taking care of the animals, as well as helping with land and garden maintenance. Jessica moved to Washington with her Washington-native boyfriend, Boone Lukich, looking to start a life-long career. Although Jessica did not major in education, she enjoyed her past jobs leading, teaching and managing kids (swim team coach, camp counselor and day care teacher) and looks forward to the opportunity to teach and improve the lives of her students at Washington-Wilkes Elementary School.
Welcome Ms. Eleazer!
