Dear Parents and Guardians:

It is with great pride that I welcome you and your child to Washington-Wilkes Elementary School.  I am very excited about the new school year and about all of the opportunities for success that it brings.  

As the new school year begins, we must work as a team to ensure that we are successful.  We must focus on excellence – on doing our very best in everything that we want to accomplish.  It will be important for each of us to listen carefully, to ask questions, to set goals, and to work as a team so that we can achieve those goals.  I truly believe that when we work together, that nothing is impossible! 

Our focus this year is for our students to be responsible, be respectful and be engaged. We want all of our students to have a positive attitude and strive to be the very best. If your child is prepared, responsible, and respectful he/she will have a successful school year at WWES.

Please know that you may contact any of us at the school if you have questions or need clarification about any of our policies at the school. We are here to serve you and your child.  Again, welcome to Washington-Wilkes Elementary School!
