It’s been a busy week at WWPS! Check out some of our WWPS kids in action and working hard researching and presenting, in art, graphing, and enjoying celebrating Citizenship with administrators!

Teachers and students both at WWPS are learners. Our teachers participated in Professional Learning on Literacy, and on Friday they enjoyed biscuits from Chick Fil A Thomson and grits from our awesome cafeteria staff!

Don't forget...

Planting seeds of knowledge, pride and success daily is our motto at WWPS! Our teachers work diligently to provide this for all students!

Wear Red, White, & Blue
September 11th

At WWPS, our theme is "Planting Seeds of Knowledge, Pride, and Success." At the start of the year, our staff symbolically planted seeds representing the potential for success. We also hosted a contest across various categories to celebrate and nurture these seeds of growth.
The following were the winners:
First to Sprout-Mary Wylie
Tallest/Longest-Tiffani Andrews
First to Die-Denise Armour and Jessica Wright (tie)
We aim to plant countless seeds that will foster student growth throughout the year!

These students were chosen by their teacher to represent their class as the very first citizen. They have started the school year off right by showing PAWS Pride and having a "Positive Attitude." We are so proud of all of you! Keep up the good work!

Mrs. Dawson's class is showing their TIGER PRIDE today and are yelling, "GO BIG BLUE!"

3rd Grader, Diamonique Anderson , read to Mrs. Turman's class yesterday. Diamonique, we think this is pretty AWESOME! Keep up the good work!
