WWPS kicked off the 2024-25 school year with our Third Annual Back to School Bash! This is a PTG fundraiser event that encourages students, parents, and our community to come out and celebrate the beginning of school with an opportunity to have fun!
Each year this event has grown in attendance, and this year we were able to have Action Packed Parties bring a variety of inflatables for students to enjoy. Students also enjoyed dunking some of the staff at the dunking booth, were able to take home free books, paint rocks provided by Wilkes County Kids, and pet animals brought by Georgia Farm Bureau! Mr. Arthur Key made cotton candy with the ingredients being donated by his church, New Life Baptist Church, with all proceeds being donated to WWPS.
Dedicated WWPS teachers manned the booths, while parents were able to walk around and mingle while children enjoyed playing together. This is an awesome time for parents, children, and our community to spend time doing a fun activity while supporting our primary school! We hope to continue to grow this event and make it a one time fundraiser for WWPS! Thanks to everyone for their support!
