The safety of our staff and students is always our top priority. The wind predictions of 30-40+ mph exceed the safety threshold of school buses, creating dangerous conditions for our students and drivers. With this in mind, the decision has been made to make tomorrow, January 9th, a virtual learning day for Wilkes County Schools.
Students will need to log into Google Classroom or the school website for assignments. We look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday, January 10th.
Attention parents and students of our after school program, on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, the afterschool program will not be in session.
Washington Wilkes Middle School extends a huge thank you to our local AAU basketball coaches, Mr. and Mrs. Marco (Valerie) Rogers for gifting our staff with classroom supplies for this holiday season.
